The lines on my face have softened significantly and what I love about it most is how many people are noticing and are saying, 'What have you done to your skin,' and then I tell them, that it's a natural treatment and it's all thanks to Morpheus8

What is Morpheus8?
Morpheus8 is a fractional skin treatment that stimulates collagen production of the underlying layers of the dermis. Morpheus8 is a device that combines micro-needling with fractional radiofrequency to treat skin conditions.
By targeting the deeper layers of the skin, tissues of the face and body can be remodeled to reveal a more radiant youthful appearance.
The device utilises three modalities of action:
- Fat coagulation
- Connective tissue contraction
- Bulk heating
What is Radiofrequency (RF)?
Radiofrequency uses energy to stimulate collagen and elastin production, but the heat energy is electrical rather than light-based. It is minimally invasive, using a matrix of micro pins to renew the deeper layers of the skin.
What areas can be treated?
Morpheus8 can be used on any areas that can benefit from resurfacing and subdermal renewal. The most commonly treated areas include the face, neck, periorbital(eye) area, tummy, thighs, legs and buttocks.
What does Morpheus8 treat?
Morpheus8 treats a number of common skin complaints:
- Sagging skin on the lower face, or “jowls” underneath the chin and jaw
- Lines, wrinkles, and creases on the lower face and neck
- Loose or lax skin anywhere on the face or body
- Sun-damaged skin
- Active acne
- Acne scars, injury scars, or post-operative scars
- Hyperpigmentation or “age spots”
- Stretch marks
- Large pores
- A dull or uneven complexion

What is the recommended Maintenance?
One maintenance treatment every 6-12 months. This will be a third of the original treatment course cost.
Dr. Nadine also recommends polynucleotide treatment pre and post Morpheus8 to improve skin quality and structure.
Is the treatment painful?
Topical numbing cream is placed on the area of treatment for 45-60 minutes. This makes the treatment quite tolerable and comfortable. Dr Nadine suggests you allocate 2 hours to include your treatment.
Are Morpheus8 treatments as good as a facelift?
While Morpheus8 does offer many of the same skin-tightening benefits of a facelift, results will not be quite as dramatic or long-lasting. That said, the Morpheus8 treatment will definitely be very noticeable and confidence-boosting. It is essential that the correct candidate only has a Morpheus8 treatment and this is when I will be honest in advising if you are best suited to a surgical option. It’s a perfect treatment for many busy professionals and parents who want significant all-around facial anti-aging but don’t have much time to spare. The best candidates for Morpheus8 are usually patients in their 30’s, 40s, and 50’s who have only mild to moderate skin laxity. And in some cases, getting Morpheus8 at a younger age may actually keep you from needing a facelift in the future. So for certain patients, it is a good preventative investment. I have witnessed many patients with acne scarring obtain incredible results.
Older patients with more severe skin sagging and wrinkling may not see as much of a benefit from Morpheus8 treatment or may need a surgical facelift as well to achieve their desired look. It just depends on the individual patient’s genetics and lifestyle factors. Some patients in their 60s and 70s are still great candidates for Morpheus8, while a surgical facelift or another therapy would better serve some in their 40s and 50s. For patients who have already had a facelift, Morpheus8 can be used in a maintenance capacity to recontour and tighten skin as needed or to address overall complexion concerns.
Is Morpheus8 better than micro-needling?
When it comes to Morpheus8, the working spectrum is broader and more aggressive (in a positive way) when compared to micro-needling. Just like laser and LED treatments, radiofrequency uses energy to stimulate collagen and elastin production, but the heat energy is electrical rather than light-based.
The fractional radiofrequency can be delivered on different power and depths of the skin and dermis (up to of 4mm and deeper than any other device on the market), which stimulates collagen production and induces skin rejuvenation without damaging the top layer. Morpheus8 is also the first and only full-body subdermal adipose remodeling device (SARD). Despite being applied externally, it offers the deepest fractional technology, allowing the surgeon to target deep layers of a patient’s skin.
